Will I get a bunch of calls after I send a request?
No. Your request goes only to the pro you picked, or the up to three you chose to compare, and they reach you only the way you chose: a text or a call, between 8 am and 9 pm.
Can I get more than one quote?
Yes. One pro is the default. On the review step, switch on Compare quotes and pick up to two more pros in the same trade. Each gets the same brief and your contact rules, and they are told you are comparing quotes, never who else is quoting. You can also add pros later from your request page.
What if the pro I picked doesn't answer?
You'll see the status of your request. Nothing gets passed to another pro automatically. If you want to try someone else, you choose who.
How do you check contractors?
We check license status and history against Florida state records and show the date we checked. Anything we haven't checked is labelled as not checked.
Can a pro pay to show up first?
No. Pros are ordered by a published score: their Florida license and years licensed, public reviews, proof of their work, and, once they get requests here, how fast they reply, whether they keep your contact rules and verified reviews. The best pros take turns at the top. Paying us never moves anyone up.
